Microsoft Business Development Executive

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive that is familiar with the Microsoft ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the Microsoft sellers and channel partners to differentiate CallCabinet’s offering within the Microsoft partner community.

Job Overview:

As a sales and relationship expert for CallCabinet within Microsoft and Microsoft ecosystem, the Microsoft Business Development Executive will work in deep collaboration with product specialists, key business line managers, Microsoft sales and pre-sales to deliver a compelling value proposition that differentiates CallCabinet’s cloud-based compliance recording offerings from the competition within Microsoft. This role is charged with effectively selling the CallCabinet value propositions with a high degree of solution knowledge and advanced selling skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master a deep understanding of Microsoft internal hierarchy and Microsoft Partners, including an understanding of the performance metrics, Microsoft sales employee compensation, to develop plans that position CallCabinet capabilities within Microsoft corporate and Microsoft Partners’ business strategies and goals.
  • Create sales programs for CallCabinet, centered around driving Microsoft corporate initiatives and driving actions that promote CallCabinet through the Microsoft sales team and Microsoft Partners.
  • Hit defined targets and contribute to overall profitability, success and positive image of CallCabinet within Microsoft and Microsoft Partners.
  • Develop and execute a creative launch and ecosystem management plan leveraging the Microsoft Solutions Plus sales process as well as engaging Microsoft Partners and the extended CallCabinet team to drive top of the funnel pipeline.
  • Development and implementation of a Microsoft and Microsoft Partner sales and recruitment strategy ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  • Provide critical insights to the channel that generates best-in-class credibility and contribute to a market leadership position for the company.
  • Provide accurate and detailed weekly, monthly and quarterly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed quota requirements.
  • Identify new sales avenues/areas within the Microsoft Ecosystem in order to fulfill revenue objectives
  • Maintain a high-profile CallCabinet presence in the channel through the creation of strong solutions that turn a sales relationship into a long-term commercial partnership.
  • Drives adoption of company programs within the Channel.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS / BA or equivalent preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience selling Software as a Service (SaaS) into sophisticated accounts in a hunter-type of role
  • Prefer an established producer who is either a current or former Microsoft employee, has an existing relationship with Microsoft and Microsoft Partners in order to understand how to leverage and develop new business relationships within Microsoft and Microsoft Partners.
  • Demonstrable experience selling complex solutions through a large channel to end user executive management.
  • Proven track record with large channels, preferably Microsoft or a Microsoft Partner, and ability to upsell and downsell within a global organization.
  • Ability to network within the channel organization to identify all key influencers and decision makers.
  • Ability to work well with team members and collaborate effectively across the extended account team or teams.
  • Displays impeccable commercial focus, negotiation skills, problem solving, channel management, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills that build confidence and credibility. Highly articulate and able to confidently explain complex models in a clear simplified manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with the ‘C’ or VP level business users to articulate business value and influence strategic application of CallCabinet solutions
  • Inherent self-sufficiency, flexibility and confidence with a preference for autonomy to take ownership and manage activities & processes to achieve revenue results.
